Arrive at Delhi by flight, train or bus. The first thing which you will experience is dirt, traffic and crowds, but still, it’s the gateway of golden triangle and easiest to reach from any corner of the world. If you are coming by train, then book a hotel at Paharganj and if you are coming by flight then book a hotel at Mahipalpur. Both these places are near the station and offer affordable accommodation. Take rest in the hotel room.
You can have a delicious breakfast in some of the good restaurants around Delhi and you can take metro or taxi to Qutab Minar. The metro is more affordable, but you will have to face a huge crowd and believe me it’s fun doing that. You can also visit India gate, lotus temple, Humayus tomb and Red fort. And I guess this will take all your day. You can go back to the hotel take a nice shower and have a comfortable sleep after a busy day after posting your photos on Facebook.
Delhi is such a big city and have so much to offer that you can’t explore all the places in one day. So you can start the second day from one of the largest market of India Chandi Chowk market. You can also visit the Jama masjid, if you are lucky then you can also get a chance to explore some fair in the Pragti maidan, one of the largest zoo and beside it the Purana kila or old fort and museum that explores the deep history of India. You can also visit the Akshardham temple which is one of the most beautiful temples in India and then you can come back to your hotel and have a nice sleep.
A drive to Jaipur will take around 5 hours so you have to start the journey early. After reaching there have your delicious and spicy Jaipuri meal at a restaurant and book a hotel for yourself. The city of Jaipur looks awesome with its pink architecture so you can do some sightseeing and you can also do some shopping at one of the bazaars. Then, you can rest in your hotel to recharge yourself for a long and exciting journey up ahead.
You can book a taxi and go to amber fort, which is the best example of Indian architecture in Rajputana era. You can also have a memorable ride of elephant or camel. They are very beautifully decorated for the tourist. If necessary, you can book a guide who can take you to the narrow lane of the bazaars or else you can get lost in the huge catacombs of shops. You can also visit city palace, Hawa Mahal and the royal observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh. You can stay overnight in the hotel.
Again, in the morning you can book a ride to Nahargarh fort, which stands on the edge of the Aravali hills. From this fort you can have a clear look of the pink city Jaipur. You can also visit Jal Mahal, Jaigarh Fort, Albert hall museum and Birla temple.
In the morning, you can have breakfast and drive to Agra. It will take you around 5 hours. In the route, you can visit the magnificent city of Fathehpur sikri built by Maharaja Akbar. After reaching Agra you can book an affordable hotel near Taj mahal in Taj ganj and then have some rest.
The best time to visit Taj Mahal is in the morning. The sunrise view of Taj mahal and the wonderful view when the sunrays are reflected by the marbles will make your day memorable. You can devote the whole day at the remarkable places, taking pictures, listening to guides about its history and enjoying the beauty of it. Then in the evening you can come back and rest.
You can book a taxi and go for a ride to Agra fort, wildlife Sos, Tomb of Itmad-ul-daulah, Seesh mahal, Mehtab bagh, Jawab masjid, Anguri bagh, Dayal bagh, Maryamuzzami palace and Birbal bhawan. It will take all your day if you start early in the morning. After a busy day, you can come back to the hotel and take some rest.
You can go back to Delhi. It will take you 4 to 5 hours by road and from there you can go back to your home with a mind full of memories and happiness.
